Welcome to my Website!

I'm a storyteller, born and raised in Greece, currently residing in New York City. Whether it's shaping narratives through my editorial work in advertising or crafting compelling documentaries, the art of uncovering stories is where my true passion thrives.

In love with nature and the Greek waters, I obtained an undergraduate degree in Marine Science from Boston University. However, during my first analytical role at a clean energy company—somewhere around cell number B1678—I realized that my personal calling most likely lay outside the tabs of Excel.

Since making the decision to pivot my career, I've spent the past 6 years deeply entrenched in the entertainment and advertising fields. My journey has encompassed diverse roles, from assisting production in docuseries and films, directing my own short documentaries to AEing in advertising as well as editing global campaigns and social media videos.

In addition to my roles in the entertainment industry, I am a spirited self-starter in my personal projects. Always in pursuit of a story, I directed two documentary shorts without a budget. My recent documentary short, “Trash Day” (2022), screened in 9 festivals and won the New York SuperShorts' award for best New York City film.

The footage I work with varies, sometimes captured by my own eager hands or by seasoned cinematographers. Regardless of the source, my focus remains on extracting the core story—a process that I relish and embrace every minute of, even when it drives me to have my fourth cup of coffee.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my journey. Feel free to delve into my portfolio. If you're in search of a passionate storyteller who finds joy in unearthing stories amidst the chaos, let's connect and embark on a collaborative journey of creativity.

Best,

Caroline
